    I wish these stories could find a better way to add some explanation and education as to how to truly recognize injuries and how to ask the right questions or make the right suggestions. I would love to know how it is possible a boy with those symptoms and that specific point of impact wasn't presumed to have a hemorrhage. I get the CT radiation issue but in the absence of any other way to diagnose a brain bleed you would think this would be done without question. That said, I realize I know very little about this topic but I would think a hematoma would have been presumed and tested for given that some of them are acutely life threatening as this one turned out to be.

    Yeah those "vertebra are happy" NOW but do you realize the breakdown they're suffering as a consequence to these injections of corticosteroids? They get numb so you dont feel pain but also dont realize that the diminished sensitivity to pain makes you workout more and that vicious cycle continually loops as you aren't giving it the necessary time to effectively & completely HEAL. What it IS designed TO DO! Pain is a body's way of saying; "STOP!' "Let me heal, dammit!" Easy to be a Poster Child in an argument FOR this trreatment but see us in 5 years & then tell us your story.... by then I'll bet that story changes dramatically, as what Ive researched seems to lend credence to this treatment causing a degradation to the body under the ruse of helping it - nothing more than a Bandaid, a temporary fix that ultimately leaves devastating & damaging results that cannot be reversed!

      You have to understand that for most people that experience pain caused by stenosis or a herniated disc this may be their only hope for some relief. Until we have some advancements in medical science for these issues, we're kind of left with trying these treatments

    • @vzeller
      @vzeller Рік тому

      @@jakez5227 Yes, but their point was that they keep living like they don't have an injury after the injection. These people 100 percent regret this in their 40s. They do these stupid things because it's their "passion" and then spinal fusion is necessary.

      You do have to be careful with CAT scans and X-rays. Excessive exposure to radiation certainly can be harmful, even in lifesaving tests and procedures. If there is suspicion of a possible brain injury, however, that is often best. They say mom knows best. His condition appeared minor at first, but he was sick. That is why she pushed for that scan.

After waiting for a referral, and weeks for the appointment, I drove over 100 miles to see him and get help. I got nothing but a nasty attitude! I walked out and left him standing in the exam room. I later heard he is known for that behavior...I have dealt with Neurosurgeons my entire life, have had multiple surgeries, over 58 years for the issue I came for, and have never been treated in such a manner. I don't care how many awards he has, his "skillful" hands will never touch this body!
